CORE VALUES

At Risen Hope Community Church we have four Core Values that we center our lives around:  God, Truth, Love, and Mission.

GOD: Because God is the Creator and center of everything, we exist to glorify Him.

TRUTH: Because the Word of God is Truth, it is the foundation on which we build our lives.

 LOVE: Because God is love and first loved us, our response is to love Him and others.

MISSION: Because God has invited us to join Him on mission, we are compelled to discover and engage in His purposes.

DISCIPLESHIP OUTCOMES

A DISCIPLE is a follower of Jesus who is learning His ways and in whom Christ is being formed. (John 3:7; II Cor 5:17; Matt 11:29; Gal 4:19)

DESIRED DISCIPLESHIP OUTCOMES

  1. INTIMACY WITH GOD: A deepening understanding of and intimacy with God that comes from pursuing Him as our greatest treasure

  2. FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT: The acting presence of the Holy Spirit in the life of the Church that demonstrates the character of God and distinguishes His people from an unbelieving world

  3. GRACE STORY: Embracing the fullness of the Gospel and being transformed by it in such a way that we desire to live it out and share it with others

  4. SPIRITUAL GIFTEDNESS: Discovering who God has uniquely made us to be and surrendering ourselves to His purposes, serving both the Church and the world with the gifts He has given us

  5. STEWARDSHIP OF LIFE: Faithfully using everything that God has entrusted us to reflect His glory
